Completion

February 20^th when I first started building stretchers to March 10^th this first painting is completed.  Unfortunately in this picture the textures and linear elements that make up the bulk of this painting are difficult to see.  

Progressing

I wrestle, fight, and struggle to gain control of the surface, each move progressing towards a solution in which the image slowly takes its own identity, and commands my moves, creating itself.
